 Spatula, Mixing Bowl, Knife, Chopping Board, Frying Pan with (Non-Stick Coating)

 

Ingredients

 Wild Barramundi Fillet, Sea Salt, Freshly Ground Pepper,Oil

 

Method

First prepare the wild barramundi fillet. Hold the whole fillet from the top firmly and slice in between horizontally to get 2 suitable thickness of 10 - 20mm each.

 

Put 1 fillet into a mixing bowl and pour water until it covers the fillet.

 

 To season. Add the sea salt into the mixing bowl and allow the fish to soak in it for a few minutes. (Amount of salt and the minutes of soaking the fillet to your liking)  Remove the fillet and set aside. 

 

To cook the fillet, heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add a dash of oil to the pan and, when really hot, add the fillet. Sprinkle in freshly ground pepper and cook for 1 minute.

 

Turn the fillet and cook on the other side for 1 minute. And turn it over again to cook for 1 minute, until just cooked through.

 

Serve immediately.
